Take A Peek At The New AUNT.

Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him.Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.

Psalm 127:3–5

It’s 9:30 am, I am trying to pull a ‘I’m serious face’ in order to distract my boss whose favorite past time is to torment. A call comes in, my mother’s voice filters through: ‘E ku ise o, mo kan fe so fun e pe egbon e ti bimo, e ya se’(Hello, well done, I called to inform you that your sister has put to bed).

My voice attracted the ‘amebos’ next door, the day could not have started any better. Guess what! I told everybody in my office. I had to juggle calls with getting job done; who get assigned to babysitting, getting work leave, who get to announce to other family members and all.

Writing this is a way to document my excitement, the turmoil in my heart. The grin on my face stayed through the day even as I avoided getting “emosh-emosh”.

Eri ifeoluwa- herein lies an evidence of God’s love towards us, is a burden of testimony, from the prophetic declaration in 2018 of celebration galore to several manifestations of His hands never leaving us.

Many bottle of champagnes as a way of celebration, others dance in jubilation, I bleed my heart in rhymes as merriment. I haven’t set my eyes on you yet but I am in love with you already.

I have to end this in monotones as I leave to attend to work! To the next generation of Adenuga’s girls, Welcome!

I love the power of stories, playing with words and my imagination to the rescue.
